Mr. E.K.N. Malinda’s research focuses on automotive sustainability, advanced steering mechanisms, and mechanical systems. His current work includes a grant-funded project on “Enhancing Sustainability of Diesel Engines Through Low Emission Dual Fuel Approach” at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, which explores reducing emissions while maintaining efficiency in diesel engines. Additionally, he is developing innovative steering systems, with ongoing research papers on the “Design and Manufacture of Zero Steering Mechanism” and a “Tilt Trike Steering Mechanism to Improve Roll Stability of Three-Wheeled Vehicles.” His supervision of student projects reflects his commitment to advancing practical automotive technologies.
