Polymer Processing Laboratories are equipped with high-tech instrumentation to perform laboratory experiments and modern polymer processing technology research.

Dry Rubber Processing Laboratory

This laboratory is used to conduct laboratory classes related to Polymer Processing Technology focus area related to Dry rubber processing and compounding. It has the capacity to accommodate 50 students at a time. This lab is also equipped with testing instruments for dry rubber-based materials and has a space to conduct related research work.

Latex Processing Laboratory

This laboratory is used to conduct laboratory classes related to Polymer Processing Technology specialization related to natural rubber latex processing and compounding and also the synthesis of new laces. This laboratory has a space to conduct related research work.

 This laboratory is used to conduct laboratory classes related to Polymer Processing Technology specialization related to plastic-based materials and products. This laboratory has a space to conduct related research work

Materials Characterization Laboratory

This laboratory is used for high-end analytical instruments used for Polymer Processing related technologies. The undergraduates conduct research work and the postgraduate students will be using the laboratory in the presence of authorized staff members. The undergraduate Laboratory classes consist of testing and will also use the laboratory in the presence of authorized staff members where required. The laboratory provides its services to the other departments of FOT, Other faculties of USJ, and other Universities and Industries.
