Personal Profile

Professor A.H.L. Renuka Nilmini obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and her PhD in the area of polymers used in drug and gene delivery from the University of Cardiff, U.K. in 2009. She began her career in 1999 as a Research Officer in the Polymer Chemistry Department at the Rubber Research Institute of Sri Lanka, and in 2016, she joined the Faculty of Technology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura  as a Senior Lecturer. Since 2020, she has been serving as the Dean of the faculty.
