Automobile Technology (AT) Laboratories in the MMT Department include:

  • Auto-Electrical Laboratory

Automobile Laboratory

This laboratory has the capacity to accommodate 12 students at a time. Laboratory classes related to automobile systems are conducted in this laboratory

The Laboratory consists of the following equipment:

  • Petrol Engine Wet Type Four-Speed Automatic Training Education Equipment 
  • Diesel Engine Training Education Equipment
  • OBDII Scanner
  • Diesel Smoke Tester
  • Automotive Scissor Lift
  • Jack Stand (Tussel) 
  • Hand Crank Engine Stand with Adapter and Dip Tray
  • Vehicle Trolley Jack (2 Tons) Hydraulic 
  • Vehicle Trolley Jack (3 Tons) – Hydraulic
  • 2 Ton Engine Crane with Leveler Hydraulic
  • Compression Tester with Adapters – Petrol Vehicles
  • Compression Tester with Adapters –Diesel Vehicles
  • Bottle Jack (1 Tons)
  • Bottle Jack (3 Tons)
  • Bottle Jack (5 Tons) 

Auto-Electrical Laboratory

With the capacity to accommodate 12 students at a time, this laboratory serves the purpose of catering to multiple laboratory classes related to electrical systems in automobiles.

The Laboratory consists of the following equipment:

  • Soldering Station
  • Impact Wrench (1/2“ Drive) 
  • Digital Multimeter
  • Oscilloscope – Analog
  • Function Generator with Counter
  • Digital Storage Oscilloscope
