Vertical Gardening Project

The Final Year (Batch 2018/2019) students of the AET Focus Area have taken the initiative to introduce a Vertical Gardening System (VGS) at the Technology Faculty premises. VGS is a novel technique to grow plants vertically with the help of structures, walls and buildings. VGS developed in the Faculty is a free-standing system built using discarded plastic beverage boxes collected from the Faculty Canteen. This technique showcases the utilization of waste beverage boxes for cultivation purposes without disposing of the environment, reducing plastic pollution.
