Food Processing Technology

The Food Processing Technology (FPT) Programme offered in the Department of Biosystems Technology provides graduates with technical proficiency and professional competence in food processing technology. The curriculum of FPT provides students with in-depth knowledge and practical exposure in the vital domains, including food preservation, post-harvest technology, food quality, food safety, industrial microbiology, food packaging, food processing, emerging food technologies, food product and plant designing and every other aspect related to food processing technology. Besides core technical subject modules, the FPT program prepares industry-ready professional graduates with strong organizational and management skills to facilitate the food industry.
