1. The Faculty of Technology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and CodeGen International (Pvt), Limited, signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on joint research projects. These projects include the development of high-performance construction infrastructure and novel energy harvesting devices. The collaboration is conducted in the QBITS Lab at the Faculty of Technology. The MOU was signed at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office on March 19, 2021, under the patronage of Senior Professor Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-Chancellor, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Dr. Harsh Subasinghe, CEO, CodeGen International (Pvt) Limited.

2. The Faculty of Technology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Rivoga I (Pvt), Limited, signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on key joint research projects. These projects comprise of the value addition to the byproducts generated during pyrolysis oil and carbon black production and the sustainable treatment of discarded and oppressive rubber waste materials generated during the manufacturing processes. The research collaboration is conducted at the Faculty of Technology and the pyrolysis plant in Rivoga, Puttalam. The MOU was signed at the Vice-Chancellor Office on December 15, 2021, under the patronage of Senior Professor Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-Chancellor, the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Mr. Lahiru Chamara de Silva, MD, Rivoga (Pvt) Limited.
