Congratulations to our academic staff members, Dr. Chathuri Senanayake from the Department of Biosystems Technology and Dr. Rajitha Gunaratne from the Department of Materials and Mechanical Technology on receiving the prestigious “Presidential Awards for Inventions – 2020” at the recent ceremony organized by the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission. Dr. Senanayake and Dr. Gunaratne were honoured for their patented inventions in the fields of Food Technology and Polymer Technology. This recognition highlights their contribution and dedication to advancing technological solutions in their respective fields.
