INFOTEL, the South Asia’s Premier and Sri Lanka’s largest ICT exhibition organized by The Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) (www.fitis.lk) supported by the Ministry of Telecommunication & Digital Infrastructure, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education & Highways, Ministry of Skills Development & Vocational Training, Ministry of Defense and many private sector organizations was held from the 2nd to 4th November, 2018 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall.
The students representing the three Departments of the Faculty of Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura actively participated at the exhibition with new software and products at the innovation Pavilion. Conspicuously, exhibits of our students were on the spotlight and were appreciated for their novelty. The exhibition was packed with a massive crowd of people and among them were some of the so called “Stars” in Sri Lankan IT industry and top ranked YouTubers.
Efforts of our students have caught the eyes of many and they all believed our young inventors will change the cause of Sri Lanka for good.
