We are delighted to congratulate Professor Lasanthi Jayathunge, our outgoing Head of the Deapartment, on her election as the new Dean of the Faculty of Technology!
Professor Jayathunge brings with her a wealth of experience and proven leadership, having previously served as Head of the Department of Biosystems Technology and Chairperson of the Board of Study in Industrial Technology at the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Her dedication, academic and research excellence, and commitment to advancing the Faculty have been evident throughout her career, and we are confident that her leadership as Dean will guide the Faculty to even greater heights.
We wish her every success in this new role and look forward to the continued growth and achievements of the Faculty of Technology under her stewardship.
