The Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) offers a forum to discuss matters of mutual interest to academic staff and students and build better staff-student relationships to improve the quality of student experience during their stay in the BST Department. Besides, SSLC provides an effective channel for obtaining student feedback and communicating the actions implemented in response to their feedback. The Department considers the students’ comments, suggestions and feedback mentioned above and activities are taken as a part of monitoring the academic progress.
Main Objective:
To provide a forum for students to openly raise and discuss matters related to teaching, learning, resources, and student support with the academic staff members within the formal framework facilitated by the Department.
Specific Duties/Objectives:
- To identify areas of concern to students and staff.
- To seek student input at many levels of decision-making.
- To disseminate examples of good practices within the Department.
- To promote engagement of student participation in quality assurance and enhancement.
- To facilitate faculty level activated those demand staff-student collaborative input.
- To support the professional recognition and industrial collaborations of students.
