Technology Faculty Library

Technology Faculty Library is one of the significant branch libraries of the USJ library network. It is the hub of knowledge dissemination for the Faculty of Technology. The Faculty Library’s main objective is to meet information needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as academic and non-academic staff of the Faculty by providing information resources and support services required for teaching, learning and research activities of the institution.

Technology Faculty Library is located in the new faculty premises in Pitipana, Homagama. Resources related to Technology related subjects are stored in the library, which are categorized as Permanent Reference, Scheduled Reference and Lending collections. The Faculty Library makes room for reading and reference purposes that can cater up to 50 users at a time. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi, and laptop lending service within the library premises is also available for the user community. External researchers are allowed to refer library materials with special permission of the Librarian.

With the peaceful environment surrounding the new faculty premises, the Technology Faculty Library makes a perfect setting for the students to focus on their studies. While the Faculty Library makes space primarily for industry related resources, and reading facilities, there are many other facilities and services offered by the library network.
