Personal Profile: Ms. Kaushalya Gunarathne received her first degree; BA (Hons) degree in English from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. After the completion of her MA in Linguistics Degree at the University of Kelaniya, she embarked on further studies simultaneously at the Open University of Sri Lanka and the London School of Executive Education, UK reading for PgDip in Teaching English as a Second Language and Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language respectively. Following her tenure as a Temporary Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Ms. Gunarathne joined the Department of Science for Technology in the Faculty of Technology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2020 as a Lecturer (On Contract). She currently serves the Faculty of Technology as a Lecturer (Probationary).
