Dr. Eranga Ajith Jayasekara possesses in excess of 16 years of hands on experience in Banking and Finance sector where he has expanded his scope to cover key areas in credit management, international trade finance, SME banking, risk management & treasury etc. and conducted training programs focused on the above subject matter for the employees involved Banking and Finance. In addition, he served reputed Educational institutes as a Senior Lecturer since 2016 focusing on disciplines such as Business Administration, Human resources management, Marketing, Finance, Strategic Management and Digital Business Strategies etc. Currently, he is attached to the Department of Science for Technology, Faculty of Technology in University of Sri Jayewardenepura as a Senior Lecturer in Business Management since October 2020.

Research Interests: Entrepreneurship, Financial Stress, Financial Capability, Marketing, Small and Medium Businesses, Strategic Management, Business Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, Project Management and Financial Markets.
