Dr. Chathuri Senanayake (PhD in Chemistry, University of Kelaniya), Lecturer attached to the Department of Bio Systems Technology, Faculty of Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was awarded the Post Graduate Research Award for the Section E2 (Chemical Sciences) in the inauguration ceremony of 74th Annual Scientific Sessions of Sri Lanka Advancement of Science (SLAAS).
The Post Graduate Research Awards of SLAAS have been awarded in recognition of the high quality research carried out by postgraduate students registered in Sri Lankan Universities or Research Institutes.
The inauguration ceremony of SLAAS was held at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on 2nd December 2018. Hon. Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama was the chief guest for the event and Dr. Sarath Gunapala was the special invitee to the event.
