Mr. Kalana Rajapaksha graduated in 2020 with a Second Class Upper Division in BET (Hons) in Construction and Building Services from the Department of Civil & Environmental Technology, Faculty of Technology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He began his academic career as a temporary demonstrator in the same department before joining the University of Vocational Technology as a probationary lecturer specializing in construction technology for more than two years. During his tenure at UoVT, he took on several key academic and administrative roles, including serving as a Board of Study member, representing the university in key government projects, and holding various other leadership positions. He also completed an Entrepreneurship Development Program conducted by USAID, strengthening his skills in innovation and leadership within the construction sector. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Technology, Faculty of Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
