Personal Profile

Ms. Devaki Bandaranayake, a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology has been able to complete the degree with Upper-Second class. Her final year research project, “An Investigation of the Factors Influencing the Job Satisfaction Level of Construction Workers,” demonstrates her commitment to understanding the key aspects of the construction industry.

Devaki has experience on academic and practical aspects as a demonstrator at the faculty of technology for one and a half years. In this role, she conducted practical sessions on various modules, including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, soil and earthworks, engineering survey, construction materials, CADD software, and Primavera.

Moreover, as a demonstrator, Devaki actively supported final-year students in their research projects on effectively utilization of waste material for the construction aspects, highlighting her ability to guide and mentor aspiring technologists. Devaki has actively participated in conferences centred around job satisfaction of construction workers, as well as sustainable and smart building technologies.
