Dr. Udara S.P.R. Arachchige, a Chemical Engineer, received his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering (2007) from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, his M.Sc in Energy and Environmental Engineering (2010) at University of South Eastern Norway, Norway and his Ph.D. in Process Modelling and Optimization in Carbon dioxide capture (2014) at University of South Eastern Norway, under the supervision of Professor Morten Christian Melaan. In 2014, Dr. Udara Arachchige joined the Yara Maritime International company as a Chemical Engineer in Oslo, Norway. He returned to Sri Lanka in 2015 and joined with Lalan Engineering as a Chemical Engineer and year 2019 January joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Technology in the Faculty of Technology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka as a senior Lecturer.
