Personal Profile

Dr G. B. Sakura is a holder of a PhD (Eng.) Degree in Civil Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (first-class honors), University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. Currently, she is working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Technology, Faculty of Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Dr G. B. Sakura has been working with Computational Fluid Dynamics software, ANSYS CFX for her research studies and is interesting in modelling particle-fluid flow applications and fluid dynamic applications. She is also interesting to work in material characterization and modelling applications.
