Dr. T. Manori Perera is a Civil Engineer who graduated from the University of Moratuwa in 2011. She obtained her Ph. D. in Civil Engineering from the same university in 2020. Within this past decade, she engaged with academic as well as industrial projects related to her specific field.

Dr. Manori started her academic career at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Moratuwa soon after her bachelor’s degree. She conducted research on the effect of different building materials and operational practices on indoor air quality (IAQ) and quantify their impact with respect to its emission and the exposure of the occupants. Application of Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) model was used to predict the TVOCs concentration generated from wet-coating materials concerning the ventilation rates under the control of environmental and test conditions. She has contributed her knowledge and skills towards the green projects in Sri Lanka where the indoor air quality and improvement of ventilation in severe indoor environs were considered.

During her industrial practice, she was occupied as a Quality Assurance Engineer and Research and Development Scientist. Apart from that, Dr. Manori has been involved with the environmental projects and social studies of assignments in Sri Lanka collaborated with environmental assessment experts.
