Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for a new hostel for Faculty of Technology to be constructed at the Pitipana premises under 3 stages of the Sarasavi Medura Hostel Project, was held 29th May 2017. The event was graced by Honorable Minister Lakshman Kiriella, Minister of higher Education & Highways, Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice Chancellor of the University and several other academic and non academic members of the university.
