The Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura together with the Dean and staff
members of the Faculty of Technology had the first meeting with their designated Building
Constructor for the commencement of the building of the proposed new Faculty complex at
Pitipana, Homagama. This is a vast 10 acres land project with provisions for future expansions to double the acreage of fully fledged faculty to cater more than 1000 Technology undergraduates.
The entire project is designed under the theme of “Green Concept” to facilitate an eco-friendly
environment in the new Faculty.
